Rising to break the stereotype, and set new standards ever since he set foot into the digital marketing industry, Rowan Lankathilaka, The Founder cum CEO of Creative Panda Media, has spearheaded his organization into the very forefront of viral media.

With an illustrious career spanning over 12 years in various sectors of the marketing industry, Rowan is brilliantly equipped to handle all challenges that may arise. Always an industrious worker, Rowan joined LB Finance as a marketing assistant while simultaneously completing his post graduate studies. He then went on to reputed digital agencies such as Loops Integrated and Media Monkey in managerial positions. This is where he learnt a lot about not just running a campaign but also as to how you can implement a digital marketing strategy to even a newly established brand and achieve short term and long-term objectives of the organization. He also learnt how to reposition a brand, mitigating risks via the use of Digital and social channels, how content can be curated and used for any brand in any industry. Throughout this period he built Digital and social media strategies for over 60+ brands locally and internationally. He then joined Swisstek Aluminium as the Asst Manager Marketing, while here he had the idea to start his own venture and founded Creative Panda Media.

One of Creative Panda Media’s key strengths is combining online and offline activities, specially activating TikTok campaigns and combining them with an offline campaign. For example they built a 35 foot tall Xmas Tree for Phoenix last December, where they also simultaneously activated an influencer campaign to build their Instagram & TikTok via influencers. The general public then started creating content around the Xmas tree as well generating a lot more organic traffic to the desired platforms. They are also focusing on creating their own TikTok filters to drive user generated content and bring more visibility to their brand.
