Sri Lanka has recorded 1,123,289 tourist arrivals as of June 22 this year, according to the latest data released by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
The Authority reports that 93,486 international visitors arrived in the country during the first 22 days of June alone.
India remained the top source market during this period, accounting for 27,504 arrivals. The United Kingdom followed with 7,716 tourists, while China and Bangladesh contributed 6,097 and 5,035 visitors, respectively.
